焼酎グラス 「Island」は、韓国で広く親しまれている酒である焼酎のために作られたグラスです。そのフォルムは、韓国の島である独島（トクト）と鬱陵島（ウルルンド）から着想を得ています。それぞれの島の名前がハングル文字で底面に刻まれ、外形はその文字の線に沿って形づくられています。韓国の飲酒文化でよく見られるように、グラスをテーブルに逆さまに置くと、まず底面が目に入り、海に浮かぶ島を思い起こさせます。「Island」は、繊細なディテールの表現に適し、人にも環境にも安全な透明素材である無鉛クリスタルを用いて、手作業で制作されています。
