カフェ 「黄金時代の香り」は、台南・赤崁エリアに位置するカフェである。築六十年の二階建て店舗併用住宅（街屋）を改修したプロジェクトで、延床面積は158.67平方メートル。デザインは昭和時代と古き良き時代のイメージから着想を得ている。古い建物の鉄骨フレームと鉄板の外装は保存し、洗練された形へと整えた。復古調の木工が勾配屋根を支え、そこには日本家屋の玄関を想起させる楕円形の開口が設けられている。ゴールドと秋の色調を主要なカラーパレットとし、バーカウンター付近に配した螺旋階段が動線を組み立てている。
