ビジターセンター 青島イノベーティブ・テクノロジーパークは、中国・青島に位置するビジターセンターである。延床面積4,836平方メートル、高さ16.92メートル、地上3階建ての建築である。うねるような屋根と地表面は海の波を想起させ、いずれの面もガラスカーテンウォールを越えて外部へと延び、内部空間と外部空間を結びつけている。地面から立ち上がる大階段は、会議室とサイエンスセンターへと人々を導く。天井に広く用いられた木質化粧材が、室内に温かみのある表情を与えている。環境技術としては、薄膜太陽電池パネル、熱回収システム、節水器具などを採用している。
