衣服 X Worldは、昆虫のX線写真から着想を得たコンセプチュアルな衣服である。昆虫の外骨格を身に着けられる形へと翻訳し、殻のような構造を幾層にも重ねて人体にまとわせている。X Worldは、無形文化遺産に登録されている中国の宮灯（palace lantern）の工芸技術を用いて制作された。数多くの素材実験を経て、針金によるフレームと絹の紗（シルクガーゼ）を組み合わせ、軽やかでありながらしなやかな構造を実現している。繊細でありながら強靭なこの衣服は、脆さそのものを一時的な保護のかたちとして提示している。
