ショップ兼アトリエは 松永窯は福島県にあり、300年以上の歴史を持つ伝統的工芸品指定の産地です。大堀相馬焼の特徴は、二重構造になっているため、熱湯が冷めにくく日常的に使える陶器です。設計者は、この機能をアーキテクチャに組み込んで表現したいと考えました。デザイナーは、同じ構成の中で異なるスケールの建築と陶磁器が相互に影響を及ぼしていると信じています。
