設計事務所 One Line Studioは、米国コロラド州デンバーに建つ設計事務所の建築である。そのデザインは、大地と空の間に象徴的な一本の線を描き出す。傾斜した自然発錆鋼(コルテン鋼)の壁が一端をしっかりと据え、薄い屋根の軒先は彼方の山々の頂へと立ち上がっていく。ガラス張りのファサードには垂直のシダー材フィンが差し込まれ、眩しさを和らげている。ダボ積層木材パネルは構造体と仕上げ面の双方の役割を果たし、パネルの奥行きを交互に変化させることで室内の音響性能を高めている。在来種の草花は着座時の高さで適度なプライバシーを確保しつつ、建物を近隣の湿地帯へとつなげている。
