アートインスタレーション 「願いの灯台」は、中国河北省北戴河のアランヤ・コミュニティの海岸線に建設されたアートインスタレーションである。高さ12メートルの構造体は、重量のある鋼製ベースプレートを備えた鉄骨フレームの上に自立しており、砂浜に基礎を掘る必要がない。ファサードには半透明のポリカーボネートパネルを用い、一般の来場者が新年への願いを描き込んでいる。日中は傾斜したレイヤーの間から自然光が差し込み、夜間は内部照明が204枚の絵付けパネルを浮かび上がらせる。鉄骨とパネルはいずれもリサイクルまたは再利用が可能である。
